San Francisco Real Estate : To my L.A. friends...

San Francisco Real Estate Blog... Recent sales, Active listings, plus News, Tips, and Trends in the current market.

To my L.A. friends...

This is for my 'circle' of 'Los Angeles' friends...(and yes, you may "enter")...

Just saw this street sign in the Berkeley Hills after having lunch with a client of mine who recently left "the City" for greener, suburban pastures!  Well, the picture had to be taken.  (And I love her new neighborhood!).  It's a little misty and grey out today, but the sun should be back this weekend!  Happy Friday, everyone.  ;-)

Roger...you too, my friend!  ;-)

That's the power of the "circle", Kathy.  Have a great one in FLA!

Will the circle be unbroken? The circle of life. Is it a sign of the times? Nice post...life is not too much without friends and family is it David?

Hello David - LA, San Fransisco, San Diego, I love all of California and one of my retirement homes in the future will be in California but it will probably north of the Bay Area! You have found yourself a feature at one of my favorite Groups & States in the country ...

Hi Robert...and thanks for the feature!  I have to admit, I love living here.  If you're thinking of wine country (and north), I totally get it.  :-)

So basically it's "City People Stay OUT!

The architecture out there is to die for! I tried hard to bring it here to the Poconos. We put an addition on our home a few years ago and I added three arches to the front exterior and put a "terracotta color" roof on so I could pretend my home was a Spainish Colonial style...LOL! It's the best I could do here in the mountains of Pennsylvania!!

And I know right where that is in Berkeley....we lived just down the street before leaving the grey/mist for the true East Bay.  Weather much more in keeping with my L.A. roots!!

You'll have to send me a picture, Val.  I want to see the "California" effect you've created for you neighborhood (I'll bet it's great).

Kathy...I should have taken a photo with the fountain in 'the circle', but the street sign wouldn't cooperate.  I really like this neighborhood.  You must have enjoyed living there when you did.  My client/friend now lives up on Euclid (@ Marin St).  The views from her place are outrageous.

Yes I recognized the "Marin Circle"....just off Solano and lots of great places to eat.  We lived on Colusa.  Euclid at Marin....quite a steep hill (GREAT views for sure!).  I still drive that hill as still go to the same Dentist in Kensington.  It is a GREAT area...but I do NOT miss the weather!!

Ok David...I will have to dig out the before pics first so you can fully appreciate what we started with which was basically a big brown toaster looking thing!

Kathy...My Dentist is out on 25th and Clement...and I know I'd still go to him if I moved out of the City.

Burmese concert...now THAT sounds exotic!  I'll have to check that out.  Have fun, Robert. ;)

LOL, Val...your 'big brown toaster thing'.
